Recently, in Polish magazine Gram, Niantic spoke of a possible upcoming PvP mode. Some might want to mention that this was promised a long time ago, but we don’t talk about that. The great google translates Niantic’s Head of Product Marketing, Anne Beuttenmüller, to have said, “Now we are working on the PvP mode, which will soon appear.” In the magazine article Beuttenmüller went on to describe the changes they recently implemented into the mobile game. Although, whether or not this will bring back a decent portion of the lost playerbase is certainly the question in mind here.
