Sony just announced the PlayStation Classic pre-loaded with 20 games that’s coming out this year for $100. The price may be a little steep though, especially when you can pick up an original PS1 on Ebay for $30. The console, like the Nintendo classic consoles, is a miniaturized version of the original. It is powered over micro USB, but strangely enough doesn’t come with a power brick.
The system’s 20 included games are not detailed in the US yet, but it currently looks like users won’t be able to expand the PlayStation Classic’s library past the included games according to Sony’s Japanese blog post.
With the current details provided, the PlayStation Classic hardly seems like a good deal.
