3/4 of Final Fantasy XV’s DLC canceled along side the departure of the game’s director

In a livestream earlier today, Square Enix that announced the cancellation of 3 out of 4 of Final Fantasy XV’s DLC. The game was initially intended to have 4 DLC releases, Ardyn, Aranea, Luna and Noctis. After today’s announcement, Ardyn is the only DLC planned to release with a release window of March 2019.

The game’s director,  Hajime Tabata, has also announced his departure. Hajime Tabata had taken over the game’s director position after Tetsuya Nomura left the position in 2013.
