Days away from Fallout 76’s launch, we finally have news on the day-one patch that players will have to download. I hope you’re hard drives are ready, because players will have to download a massive 54 GB day-one patch on PS4. There isn’t any word on patch sizes for other systems, but their patches will most likely be similarly sized.
This huge patch is following the already big 45 GB install size, and if you played the beta another 30 GB patch during the last couple days of the beta. So early adopters get the “opportunity” of filling up 130 GB of space on their systems.
I wonder if game publishers and developers remember that these days many ISPs put caps on monthly data use.
Fallout 76 releases for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on November 14.
