Red Dead Online release date and details

*UPDATE* – More specific details regarding Red Dead Online’s release times have surfaced. Players who own the Ultimate Edition of the game will have access tomorrow, Tuesday, November 27, at 8 AM Eastern Time. Players who played the game within the first 3 days of release (October 26 – 29) will have access to the mode on Thursday, November 29. And finally, everyone else will get access on Friday, November 30.

It sucks a little bit that Rockstar decided to follow the early access trend for different editions of the game, but at lease they aren’t restricting the full game from people who payed the full 60 dollars *cough* EA *cough*.

We’re definitely looking forward to Red Dead Online though, and after getting our hands on the anticipated multiplayer mode we’ll finally be doing out full assessment of the game and releasing our review.

ORIGINAL POST

Rockstar announced that Red Dead Online’s beta will be releasing in stages, and its first stage will release as early as tomorrow, Tuesday, November 27.

The earliest stage of the beta begins at 5:30 AM Pacific Time.

Not all players will have access to the beta right away due to the launch stages, but all players who own Red Dead Redemption 2 will have access by this Friday, November 30.

During the beta, players will be able to create their own characters and join posses with up to seven players per group. Every posse also seems to have the ability to own their own camp.
