Islands of Nyne was fairly hyped up before its initial early access release, but since then player count has been painfully low.
During the majority of 2018 it spent most of its time have a player count in the single digits.
Well Define Human Studios hopes to combat this by making the game free to play.
The game was previously $24.99 to get access to its early access, but the new free to play version may bring back some life into what was almost as dead of a game as LawBreakers.
There is one big catch though. Islands of Nyne has officially ceased development, so don’t hope for any patches or updates.
So when it comes down to it, it may still not be worth your hard drive space.
