Black Ops 4’s Blackout will be free to play for a week

If you’ve been wondering whether or not Blackout was the Battle Royale mode for you, then you’ll get your chance to try it out Thursday.

Starting January 17, Blackout will be completely free to play until January 24.

The new Blackout mode takes the great gunplay Call of Duty is known for and brings it to a huge map with 100 total players. In our Black Ops 4 review, we though that Blackout felt like a refined, faster paced version of PUBG, and we though the unique Call of Duty elements thrown into the mix made the mode that much more fun.

The trial will be available for everyone on Xbox One, PC, and PS4. Check out the trailer here –
