Today’s State of Play livestream was the first of many to come from Sony, and while it mainly focused on PS VR titles there was a little something for everyone within the stream.
During the State of Play, we got sneak peaks at some upcoming titles for PS VR including Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted, Marvel’s Iron Man VR, and Blood & Truth. No Man’s Sky was also confirmed to have VR support for PS VR on the way with the upcoming No Man’s Sky Beyond update.
A ton of titles that were already known to be coming to PS VR also had their own trailer shown off during the livestream.
Among all the VR was the announcement of some new indie titles coming to PlayStation 4.
ReadySet Heroes is a co-op competitive multiplayer dungeon crawler that pits 2 teams against each other. Both teams attempt to race to the end of the dungeon. At the end of the dungeon both teams must fight to win, and the team making the fastest pace also gained the best loot.
The game will support online multiplayer as well as 4 player splitscreen. The game looks lie it will be a party favorite to play with friends.
Another indie shown off during the stream was Concrete Genie, a game looking to bring a beautiful art style to life through the eyes of main character Ash.
Crash Team racing also received a new trailer showing off the return of classic skins from the original game.
We also got a sneak peak of the upcoming sci-fi thriller Observation as well as a look at some more characters arriving in Mortal Kombat 11.
Last but not least we have another Days Gone trailer. Days Gone is one of the most highly anticipated PlayStation exclusives, and its release is just on the horizon.
