The original version of Minecraft (now called the Java edition) has surpassed 30 million sales

Minecraft Java edition has now sold over 30 million copies for PC alone.

After all these years, Minecraft is sitting comfortably at over 150 million sales across all platforms making it one of the highest selling games of all time.

Mojang’s sales ticker has been keeping track of the sales on the official website, and its newest peak is a landmark for PC games.
