Beat Saber says goodbye to early access, full release coming in only a week

The VR game that skyrocketed into the top-sellers list on every VR platform it’s been available on is finally coming out of early access next week.

Coinciding with Beat Saber’s release on Oculus Quest on May 21, the game will switch from an early access title to a fully released one along with a bevy of updates.

Beat Saber 1.0’s big updates are ones that fans have been waiting a long time for. The update will include unification across all platforms, multiple unnamed features that the Beat Saber team wanted to include at the game’s launch, and the highly anticipated official level editor.

Beat Saber’s official level editor will be a 2D editor that will have the ability to map any custom song as well as the ability to work with songs already included Beat Saber OST Vol. 1.

There will be more to come from the team behind Beat Saber in the future as well, but for now I’d say this update is pretty substantial. Along with the increase in features though comes an increase in price. The game will be priced at $30 following the full release.
