Summer Games Done Quick raises over $3 million for charity

This year’s annual Summer Games Done Quick event ended last week to the huge success of over $3 million for Medecins Sans Frontieres.

Medecins Sans Frontieres is a network of medical aid professionals that help to provide relief, medicine and care worldwide regardless of race, religion, or politics.

A total of $3,036,304,42 was raised during the event with the top donation being $341,000 and an average donation of $59.00 during the time of writing.

You can go to the Games Done Quick website to continue donating to support Medecins Sans Frontieres. Every run done on the stream is also viewable through the website, so if you missed any of the quick action you can catch up there.

The next event taking place will be Games Done Quick Express at Twitchcon. Money donated will go towards The AbleGames Foundation (also known as AbleGames Charity). The even will run from September 27-29.
