Sniper Elite is getting 2 new releases in 2019 – Sniper Elite 5 and VR in development

If you haven’t gotten to kill Hitler yet then now’s your chance to do it!

Sniper Elite V2 is getting a remastered release sometime this year. The remaster will include the full game along with all DLC (including the DLC where you can kill Hitler). The remaster will have full 4k and HDR support to help fit in with modern titles.

If you own the original Sniper Elite V2 you’ll get a discount when upgrading to the remaster.

On top of Sniper Elite V2’s remaster, Sniper Elite 3 is coming to Nintendo Switch.

Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition for Switch will include all additional content ever released for the game along with Switch-exclusive local wireless multiplayer and motion controls.

While it won’t be as robust as it’s PS4, Xbox One, and PC counterparts, it’s certainly good to see the Switch getting some grittier third party titles on the system.

Just like Sniper Elite V2’s remaster, Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition doesn’t have an exact release date and is slated for a 2019 release.

On top of all this news, Rebellion confirmed that Sniper Elite 5 and a Sniper Elite VR title are both in development. The two titles don’t have any details as of yet, but a VR Sniper Elite game sounds extremely intriguing.
