Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 are all getting remastered in the all new Yakuza Remastered Collection

Rumors were circulating that Yakuza 3 was finally going to get its anticipated remaster that had already been released to the Japanese public. Luckily for fans of the Yakuza franchise, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios and Sega had a little bit more up their sleeve than could have been hoped for.

All 3 of the remaining Yakuza games to receive a remaster, 3, 4, and 5, will be releasing remastered via the Yakuza Remastered Collection.

There is one catch though.

It’s not really a full collection unless you wait until February 2020 to purchase it, the date that Yakuza 5 finally gets its remaster.

Currenty, Yakuza 3 Remastered is already available on the PlayStation Store for purchase, and Yakuza 4 will come later along with Yakuza 5 at an even later date.

The physical edition of the game will be releasing at the same time as Yakuza 5 Remastered’s release date.

If you’ve waited to play Yakuza 6 so you can expereince the whole story on modern consoles though, then now’s the time to reboot your Yakuza hype.

Yakuza 3 Remastered will run at a solid 1080p 60 fps, will contain all content that was cut from the original Western release of Yakuza 3, include English subtitles for karaoke, and feature overhauled localization compared to the original Yakuza 3.
